Not many retail establishments in Canada, let alone bike shops, can make the claim of being in business for 75 years on the same street corner. Western Cycle is a successful store that has occupied the corner of 124th street 104th ave. in Edmonton, AB since 1934. It that year Julius Pahal was paid to disassemble a church and as payment was given the wood from the church.
He took that wood and built what would eventualy house his hardware and bicycle shop.
